work work work

i’ve got free time and i’m looking for websites to develop! i have a few potentials lined up but i’d like to be able to get at least 5 solid sites nailed down to keep me going for another month or so. a basic site can run anywhere from $300 to $3,000 and take between 2 and 20 weeks from concept to completion. i realize this is a wide scope, but it’s all based on you, my friends! design revisions and lack of content usually push the process back – but if we can both get our act together then i can make it happen in a jiffy. so come one, come all, line up and bust out your wallets – it’s go time!

helping haiti

after a brief viewing of the nba.com news feed i realized 2 things. 1 – nba players are sending millions of dollars to help haiti overcome this devestating tragedy, and that’s awesome. 2 – these guys have way too much money if they can donate $65,000 and have it be the same as me donating $10. i don’t recall seeing any of the team owners’ names in there anywhere, but i just took a quick glance. but still, perhaps ticket prices and concessions should go down a little… maybe help out your downtrodden fellow americans who have suffered in a bad economy?? not right now, of course, i’m all for giving any donations to people who REALLY need it rather than a bunch of “poor” americans who can no longer comfortably afford to go to a game and get drunk and eat too much… but at some point it would be nice to go to a game again. cheers big ears.

automotive industry

we built a pretty intense website for sage automotive group and have been maintaining it for the past 4 years now. the site is a really great system that tracks and reports sales data throughout the 6 dealerships. we made a custom display for this to be shown in each dealership on a 50″ widescreen plasma, created an automated fax system that sends the sales figures out each morning, and a custom admin for the owner to edit/add salesmen, vehicles, advertisers, etc. very cool stuff – now it’s time to start building the 2.0 version which will include a host of other automated features as well as a more streamlined look & feel for the users and display.

tom brady

thanks tom, nice to see you don’t give a shit about the playoffs and would much rather go play golf somewhere. remember all those games when you didn’t suck? yeah, they were awesome. i don’t understand – YOU’RE TOM BRADY?!?!? best qb of the decade and you decide to throw int’s like whaaaa and fumble the ball so everyone in the world will say that peyton manning is better. ugh. thank god for julian edelman though, mini-welker really made things happen. if we were moving on i would say that he should get the ball more… but instead i’ll just cry in the corner.

well, at least the celtics won. sheed had a solid game in kg’s absence, nice to see that.

playoff football

the eagles suck – how did they make the playoffs? cowboys are murdering these beeotches. whatevs, patriots all the way. go pats!

yahoo!

just gonna go ahead and get this out there – i use yahoo much more than i use google. i have email accounts with both of them, and maybe i’m just stuck in my ways, but i rarely use my gmail account because i’m just all up in yahoo’s poo all the time. i know what you’re thinking; “this dude’s amazing!”. well, you’re right. and since i’m awesome and you strive to be awesome maybe you should use yahoo as well. or not. whatevs. just sayin.

winter adventure

trying to gather some people to go on a winter hiking / camping trip – apparently not a lot of people like to do this?? i’ve never done it, but i sleep with the window open and the fan on when it’s 4 degrees outside so i think i’ll be fine. i’m looking into the white mountains of good ol new hampshire, seems like a solid spot to get attacked by a bear or murdered by a few crazy teenagers… on second thought, maybe i’ll just stay home.

private jets…

well we’re in the design phase of a new site for a private jet company – must be nice to be them. i’m thinking i should go into that type of business, some sort of super high-end luxury item that i can sell / lease / rent for hundreds of thousands of dollars. anyone want to give me the startup money for that? anyway, the design is basically approved, just waiting on a couple more items before we can start production. so i guess we’re grounded until then… man i hate being stuck on the runway. oh well, at least the design is cool, hopefully it actually moves into development at some point so everyone can see.

newbie

i’ve been working on a new site for the past couple days now… wordpress is amazing! also, yahoo hosting is pretty awesome, they have some great tools that really streamline the whole process of things – nice work guys. trying to get everything put together so all you bastards can come check it out and give me money for stuff. so give me money already! seriously though, i’ve got a little bit of time on my hands so if anyone needs a website or a redesign or help with graphics or what not just give me a shout. go celtics, go patriots, go sox – woo!
